See The Elephant is thrilled to have received a grant from the CA Creative Corps and City of Sacramento Arts & Culture to create a new project in 2024. We have partnered with YXplosion as our non-profit for this project.

As part of our community engagement series, See The Elephant will create a performance that accurately and honestly portrays experiences of being queer / LGBTQIA+ in rural, small town Placerville. To that end, we will host gatherings of local LGBTQIA+ and allies to gather stories and experiences, painting an authentic picture of what it is like to be queer living in Placerville and El Dorado County.
